Meet the Team

Women Vets on Point is a program designed for women veterans, by women veterans and those who support us. Here are some of the people you might meet when you connect with us.

Rocio Palmero

Program Coordinator

Rocio, a 14-year Navy Veteran, brings her skills and passion for supporting other veterans to the Women Vets on Point team as our Program Coordinator. “Service did not end for me when my enlistment ended, it was merely the beginning of my understanding of what it means to serve,” she says.

Mika Durrant

Case Manager

Mika is the person you are most likely to meet over live chat. As case manager, Mika helps women veterans find housing, mental health, employment or child care resources. She says: “It is an honor to work with some of the strongest, most resilient, and amazing people I know — our vets.”

Kathleen Cone, LCSW

Licensed Therapist

Kathleen is our dedicated therapist who supports all our female veterans. She has a heart for helping our “amazing, strong, courageous and resilient” women veterans journey to a new life for themselves.

Whitley Crawford

Digital Outreach Specialist

If you're communicating with us over Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, you're talking to Whitley! In addition to managing our social media channels and newsletter, Whitley also pops in at many of our events for women veterans.

Dana Grethen, MSW LICSW

Director of Behavioral Health

As Director of Behavioral Health at U.S.VETS' Bob Hope Patriotic Hall location in Los Angeles, Dana provides clinical leadership and supervision to the team providing mental health services to women veterans. She is enthusiastic about how Women Vets on Point opens doors for veterans and the veteran community to reach their goals and truly thrive.
