Free Legal Assistance to Former Service Members
Intake appointments: July 17 and July 31 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Call (310) 478-3711 ext. 42354 for an appointment.
We assist any person who served in the U.S. military, regardless of discharge status, length of service, gender, and era of service.
We assist with ONLY the following issues:
Tickets and Warrants: resolving tickets and warrants for various traffic violations such as jaywalking. We do not assist with DUI matters.
Veterans Benefits: applying for and appealing decisions for pensions and service-connected compensation, vocational rehab, and other VA benefits.
We can provide referrals for legal matters with which we are unable to assist.
Please note: We will not be able to commit to serve as your attorney during intake. We also may be unable to provide legal advice on your matter during intake. When applicable, the clinic will further assess afterwards whether to provide representation or what legal advice can be given. To qualify for representation, individuals must meet certain criteria, including income.
