Krishna America Flores is a native of the San Fernando Valley and a first-generation-born American. She served in the United States Marine Corps from 2004 to 2008 as a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Krishna graduated from Los Angeles Valley College in 2012 with her associate’s in Liberal Arts, obtained her bachelor’s degree in public health promotion and her master’s degree in health administration from Cal State Northridge (CSUN)in 2018.
Krishna holds eleven years of experience working in the veteran service space. From homeless outreach to connecting veterans to readjustment counseling services and other resources. advocate of veterans issues. Currently, she works for the VA, conducting mental health outreach to combat veterans and veterans who experienced MST to readjustment counseling services and linkage to the VA healthcare system and community resources.
