The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, LA County, has two divisions: “Veterans Services,” which serves veterans, active members of the United States Armed Forces, and their dependents and survivors; and “Bob Hope Patriotic Hall,” which hosts approximately 600 veteran-related events, workshops, training sessions, outreach efforts, housing and employment opportunities, press conferences, job fairs, and meetings on an annual basis in partnership with other county departments, government agencies, and internal and external nonprofit veteran services organizations.
