The United States Veterans Initiative (U.S.VETS) hosts the ADVANCE Women’s Program, a transitional housing service focused on addressing the unique needs of women who were exposed to sexual trauma during their military service and may be experiencing problems with substance use. In partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs, ADVANCE provides a safe and sober living environment where women with children can receive treatment for sexual trauma, substance misuse, work re-entry counseling, and assistance in receiving disability payments.
